ABRIT was founded in 1981 after the taking over of the Avanzini company abrasive department.
At the time the Abrasivi Fratelli Ronchi company already had more than twenty years experience and, after the merging of the Abrasivi Fratelli Ronchi with ABRIT, ABRIT becomes more and more specialist in converting abrasive belts with an advanced, self made and exclusive converting plant technology to make segmented wide belts for the particleboard, plywood, MDF and laminated boards industry.

We are the tailor who, after buying the best cloth, makes clothes to measure. We buy the best coated abrasive jumbo rolls and we make belts. We don't produce the coated abrasive, anyhow as every couture-house has its own "griffe", we put a "griffe" on our belts production, made on each customer's request in order to satisfy his needs. We would like to point out that abrasive belts are used in all industries and it's important to be able to convert belts of all size, having every kind of abrasive grain and having light, heavy, stiff or flexible backing material.
